09. Tips and Needles Kits
SAGOLA supplies Nozzle Kits and Tip and Needle Kits
of different sizes for a variety of different applications. In
order to replace these, proceed as follows:

With the spraygun fully depressurized, remove the Product regulator (Fig.01) and extract the
needle to be replaced. (Fig.02)
Remove the air nozzle (Fig.03).
Remove the tip with the wrench supplied. (Fig.04)
Fit the new tip and tighten and insert the needles. Now fit the
product regulator. Lastly, fit the appropriate air nozzle.
There are Tip + needle Kits for this model of:
Stainless Steel Ø 0.80, 1.00, 1.20, 1.40 and 1.80.
Tungsten carbide Ø 1.20, 1.40, 1.80, 2.20 and 2.80.

10. Start-up
The V 4000 Automatic spraygun does not require a high pressure air source for most applications
because lower pressures are best suited for fine, high-detail spraying.
Realizing the V4000's full benefits requires an adjustable or regulated air supply installation.
10.1. Connect to air and assembly. DMM and QCM Versions
1 - Assemble the recirculating fitting or the cap.
2 - Connect recirculating to another spraygun or to the tank.
3 - Connect the product hose to the pressure pot or low pressure pump.
4 - Connect the air hose to a purifier regulator (No.2).
5 - Connect another air hose to a 3-way valve (pilot). (No.4).
6 - CWhile the pilot activated, operate the pressure pot regulator or pump (No.7), until the requi-
red product is attained.
7 - The spraygun will begin to project product.
