To return the reflector to its ori-
ginal position, press the button
again, bend the reflector back,
and release the button. The but-
ton must tangibly lock in place,
only then is the reflector fixed in
place.

To adjust the height, slide the
upper stand pipe to the desired
height and fix it in place at this
height by tightening the locking
ring.

There are two switches on the
reflector; via these switches the
heating elements can be used
separately or together:
Heating element 1 900 watt
Heating element 2 1,200 watt
Both heating elements 2,100 watt
CLEANING AND CARE
Switch off the appliance. To do
this, move both switches to the
"0" position
Unplug the plug from the
electrical outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool
completely.

Never use any abrasive scouring
agents, steel wool, metal objects,
hot cleaning agents or disinfec-
tants.

You can clean the housing with a
damp cloth. Then dry the housing
with a dry cloth.

During the first two minutes after
switching on the appliance, two
dark spots can appear on the sur-
face of the heating elements. This
is normal and has no influence on
the performance of the appliance.

When the appliance is no longer
required, switch both switches
to the "0" and unplug the mains
plug.
10. Caution: If the appliance tips over
it switches off automatically.
Be aware that the appliance
can become very hot - danger
of burns! Particularly ensure
that children are kept away
from the appliance.

Never immerse the appliance in
water.

Store the radiant heater in a dry,
safe place so that it is protected
from dust, shocks, heat and mois-
ture.

Allow the appliance to dry com-
pletely before it is placed in ser-
vice again.
