3.6 FOOTREST
It is possible to adjust the height of the footrest by unscrewing the two screws on the frame, adjust the desired
height and retighten them. It is also possible, in some cases, to adjust the angle of the footrest by loosening the
screws underneath the aluminium or carbon fibre top. Once the angle has been adjusted as desired, retighten the
screws. Adjustments must be performed by the specialist dealer.
3.7 ANTI-TIP DEVICE
An anti-tip device prevents the wheelchair from tipping backwards. The device is adjustable to different needs. It is
attached to the rear wheel axle with a special clamp. It can be positioned on the right or left side. Different types of
anti-tippers are available. See the spare parts manual on the Aria website.
