The shower toilet may be used and maintained only by
the owner or user, in accordance with the instructions
in this user manual. Only drinking water may be used for
the derby AQUAWASH shower toilet, not rainwater
or grey water.

1.4 Batteries

– Batteries can cause fatal injury if swallowed. There-
fore, keep batteries out of reach of young children.
If a battery has been swallowed, seek medical
assistance immediately.
– Batteries must not be charged or revived using
alternative means, taken apart, thrown onto a fire or
short-circuited.
– Always take used batteries out of the remote control
immediately, as they may leak and cause damage.
– Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the
remote control for a longer period.
– Clean the battery and contacts before inserting the
battery. Make sure batteries are inserted the right way
round.
– Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions. Do not
leave batteries on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight, as
this increases the risk of leakage.
