The blade 7 is not completely fixed to the holder. This is normal. The

blade 7 is only completely fixed when the bowl lid 6 has been put on.
Add the food you wish to chop into the bowl 8.

NOTE
Fill the bowl 8 only up to the 500 ml mark

and only up to the 300 ml mark
Put the bowl lid 6 on the bowl 8. When doing so, make sure that the

blade 7 is correctly engaged in the bowl lid 6.
Fit the motor unit 4 into the mount on the bowl lid 6. Make sure that the
■
two opposing fixing pins on the motor unit slide into the tracks provided for
this purpose in the mount. Otherwise, the motor unit 4 cannot be connected
to the fitting on the bowl lid 6.
NOTE
If you want to store food in the bowl 8, you can use the lid 9. To do this,

carefully remove the bowl lid 6 and motor unit 4 and also the blade 7
if necessary.

Once you have assembled the appliance as required:
1) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
2) Hold down the switch
