Prefader listening to the channels
The cue function allows monitoring each of the channels 1-4 via headphones even if the corresponding
channel is faded out. Thus, it is possible, e. g. to time the moment for fading in an audio source. Alternatively
it is also possible to monitor the current music program ahead of the master control.
1)
For prefader listening to a channel, press the corresponding CUE switch (red indicators light up) and set
the control CUE MIX to the left stop position. To monitor the current music program ahead of the master
control, set the control to the right stop position.
2)
Adjust the desired headphone volume with the control CUE LEVEL.
Operation with a computer
The rear USB port PC allows transmission of digital audio signals in both directions between the mixer and
the computer. As soon as the mixer is connected to a computer, it will be recognized as a standard USB
audio device and the required drivers are installed.

You can control the mixer using the standard audio interface controls in the Mac and Windows
operating system. For data transmission from the mixer to the computer the USB interface of the mixer
must be selected as the recording device. For data transmission from the computer to the mixer the
USB interface of the mixer must be selected as the playback device. Open your playback/recording
software to make the required adjustments for audio playback via the mixer or for audio recording from
the mixer.
2)
Set input selector (5) to the PC position to switch the audio signal coming from the computer to input
channel 4. In addition, the PC mode must be selected with the MODE button (14) so that the display
indicates "PC".
3)
For recordings with the computer, the USB port sends the digital master signal.
Using the audio player
The audio player allows streaming music from your mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and
notebooks and accepts USB storage devices with MP3, WMA and WAV files.
1) To use the audio player, set the input selector for channel 4 to the right position.
2) For Bluetooth operation select Bluetooth mode with the MODE button. The display shows the
at the top left and the device enters pairing mode. Now the display indicates "ConnectingV".
3) Activate the Bluetooth function at the Bluetooth source and start the device scan. Select "PM-444Pi"
from the list and connect the devices.
4) Now play music at the Bluetooth source as you normally would and use the control elements of channel
4 to mix the audio player's signal to the master signal.
5) For USB operation insert a USB drive into the USB port and select USB mode with the MODE button.
The USB device is selected as the playback medium and read in. The display shows various information.
If a data carrier is not recognized at the first try, remove it and insert it again. Now use the PLAY/ STOP
and

buttons for playback control.
