Intended Use
System for monitoring gas concentrations from an explosion hazard area, zone 20
(dust particle size ≥0.1 µm), for which the system components are installed in the
explosion hazard area, zone 21.
The system is not validated for the aspiration of explosive gases. Explosion hazard!
Make sure that no explosive gases are aspirated.
Description
The measured gas is aspirated via the integrated pump of the gas transmitter Polytron
7000, type P3D from zone 20 through a dust filter and supplied to the sensor of the gas
transmitter.
