General instructions and safety instructions
The instructions in this user manual must be carefully followed and adhered to. All those involved
in the installation, operation, and maintenance of the spill pallet must have read and understood
this user manual.
We reserve the right to make technical changes to the illustrations and details in the user manual
in order to improve the product.
The national guidelines and safety regulations relating to hazardous materials,
safety guidelines, industrial safety regulations and operator duties must be
observed.
Intended use of the equipment
The base-line spill pallet for 2 and 4 drums are suitable for the storage of water-polluting
substances with a flashpoint over 100°C.
Stored liquids must be listed on the DIBt 40-1.1 media list (www.dibt.de) and have a reduction
ratio of A
≤ 1.0 .

The spill pallet must only be used on firm, even surfaces. The spill pallet must not be located on
a roadway and must be protected from damage by vehicles using appropriate means (e.g. impact
protection barriers).
If located outside, the spill pallet must be protected from wind, direct sunlight and rainwater,
snow or hail.
Storage volume: The spill pallet must only be used in accordance with the performance
parameters given in Sections 3 Technical data and 4 Assembly and operation
The base-line spill pallet for 2 and 4 drums is suitable for transport.
A standard chemical pallet (1200 x 1200 mm) can be placed directly (without grids) on the
base-line spill pallet for 4 drums.
