Water must never come into contact with the tool

Brushes

Over time the carbon brushes inside the motor may become worn
•
Excessively worn brushes may cause loss of power, intermittent failure, or visible sparking
•
If you suspect that the brushes may be worn, have them replaced at an authorised GMC service centre
Note: One pair of spare carbon brushes is included with this tool.

Disposal

Solution
Check power supply
Return the tool to an authorised GMC service
centre for repair
Increase speed
Change blade
For some materials, including hardened metals,
compatible blades are unavailable. Revert to alternative
methods of cutting
Replace blade
Reduce speed
Reduce hand pressure
Replace sanding pad
Check blade or other accessory is securely tightened
Stop using the tool and return it to an authorised GMC service
centre for repair
Switch the tool off and disconnect from power
supply immediately. Return it to an authorised GMC service
