TROUBLESHOOTING

NEVER ATTEMPT TO REPAIR OR DISMANTLE THE DEVICE
The unit does not work.
 Is the plug in the socket?
 Is the earth leakage circuit breaker engaged? No power?
 Is the 'water tank full' light on? (If so, drain the water).
The unit doesn't seem to be very effective
 Is there direct sunlight? (If so, close the curtains).
 Are there perhaps too many open windows or doors?
 Are there too many people in the room?
 Is the space too big?
 Is there an object in the room that is generating (a great deal of)
heat?
 Is the filter dusty or covered in dirt?
 Is the air inlet or outlet blocked?
The device is noisier than usual
 Is the machine on a non-horizontal surface? This can cause
vibration!
