Air filter

• Unscrew the wing nut and remove the air filter
cover.
• Unscrew the wing nut and remove the air filter.
• Clean with compressed air or replace if
necessary.
• Re-assemble in reverse order.

Spark plug

• Pull off the plug cap.
• Unscrew the spark plug with the spark plug key
provided.
• Remove all traces of soot with a steel wire
brush. The electrodes should be a tan colour.
• The gap between the electrodes should be 0.7 –
0.8 mm. Adjust with a screwdriver if necessary.
• Worn spark plugs need to be replaced
immediately.
• Refit the spark plug carefully by hand to avoid
damaging the threading.
• Tighten with the spark plug key. Do not over-
tighten.
• Refit the plug cap.
