5. Commissioning, operation
DANGER!
Danger to life caused by electric current
Upon contact with live parts, there is a direct danger to life.
▶
The instrument may only be installed and mounted by
skilled personnel.
▶
Operation using a defective power supply unit (e.g. short-
circuit from the mains voltage to the output voltage) can
result in life-threatening voltages at the instrument.
▶
Only switch the power supply on once the instrument has
been properly installed.
1. Mount the instrument in the desired location (see chapter 5.1

"Mechanical mounting").

2. Open the instrument cover, lay the cable and connect in accordance
with the pin assignment (see chapter 5.2 "Electrical mounting").
3. The instrument is now ready for configuration.
5.1 Mechanical mounting
Select a mounting location (at a duct).

Use the mounting flange as a template and mark the screw holes.

Mount the flange to the duct with the screws (screws are not included

in delivery).
