10.1. Online Manual
This user manual is a printed version. Therefore it represents the specifications
and software features from the date printed (May 2018). As we are constantly
improving our cameras, please always refer to the up-to-date online manual:
The online manual offers you many important topics for using your camera. Be-
low are some of the topics covered by the online manual:
1. How to use the DDNS address
2. How to set a port forwarding rule
3. How to set up motion detection
4. How to download videos from the built-in SD card

10.2. Firmware Update
INSTAR cameras will be provided with free firmware updates. Open the WebUI
and navigate to System -> Firmware Update to check if there is a new update
available for your camera model. You can then download and install the latest
firmware directly through the WebUI. The latest firmware can also be found here:
