3.3 Inserting the memorycard

The SECACAM HomeVista Mobile stores images
and videos on standard SD or SDHC memory cards.
Important: Recording photos and videos, as well
as changing the menu settings is only possible
with a memory card inserted. The camera supports
SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32 GB.
Inserting the memory card: When you insert the
memory card the camera must be turned off! Open
the bottom flap and insert a SD / SDHC memory card into the memory card
slot until it clicks into place. When inserting the memory card, the memory
card contacts must face upwards, meaning you must see the front of the
camera and the golden contact strips of the memory card.
Write protection: A small slider is located on the side of each memory card
to enable or disable the write protection. Only when the slider is enabled, the
memory card can be used by your camera.
Formatting the memory card: We recommend to format the memory card
in the camera before using it for the first time. To format the memory card
in the camera, turn the camera on (switch to 'ON'). Then press 'OK' button
to turn on the screen. Next, press the 'Up' button to enter the viewing
mode. Now press the menu button 'M' Two options are offered: 'format' or
'delete'. Select 'format' and confirm with 'OK'.
Note: When formatting the memory card all previously stored images and
videos will be erased
