Plastic Cap
Follow the same procedure to adjust the level on all arms according to
your requirements.
The front bar of the awning must be completely even. Please use a
level to help you achieve this.
Put the plastic caps onto the screws to protect them against weather-
based corrosion.
Always remove the hand crank from the awning and keep it in a safe and
dry place.
7.2 HANDLING OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
There are legal limitations for the transmission range of radio waves. The
maximum range can also be limited by physical obstacles between sender and
receiver.
➔ Prior to installation, please check whether remote control and awning
are both working properly.
➔ Choose a suitable installation area for the remote holder (IP20). Make
sure there are no metallic or magnetic obstacles in the direct vicinity,
which might interfere with the radio waves.
➔ When inserting batteries, please make sure not to bend the contacts.
Open the battery compartment by gently pushing the spanner in the lid
and sliding the cover open. Insert the batteries according to polarity and
labelling on the compartment. To close the compartment, slide the two
extensions in the lid into the cut-outs in the remote and gently push until
the cover closes with a click.
➔ If the remote control does not function, please check whether the
batteries are inserted correctly and put them in again if necessary.
