3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING:
It is important for your personal safety to follow these instructions exactly!
➔ Do not exceed the rated number of two operating cycles.
➔ Make sure to frequently examine the awning for possible
imbalances, signs of wear and tear or damage to cables, springs
or any other parts. Do not continue using the awning if it requires
reparations or adjustments, until these have been properly made.
➔ Do not operate the awning when there are maintenance-tasks (like
window cleaning) being carried out in the vicinity. Disconnect the
awning from the power-supply for the duration of work.
➔ If the power cord needs to be replaced, make sure to use a new
cable of the same type as the one originally delivered by the
manufacturer. Do not continue using the awning with a damaged
cord. If you are uncertain how to proceed, please contact your
supplier.
➔ The moving parts of the awning must be installed at a minimum
height of 250 cm above ground level.
➔ Before you start installing your awning, remove all unnecessary
cords and disable any equipment not needed for the installation.
➔ Install the manual release at a maximum height of 180 cm or below.
➔ Install the biased OFF-Switch within direct sight of the driven part
but away from moving parts and at a maximum height of 150 cm
or below.
➔ This product may not be used by children or people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
/ or knowledge. Children shall not be allowed to play with the
appliance nor carry out any cleaning or user maintenance tasks.
➔ Keep the awning as well as its power cord out of children's reach.
Keep the remote control in a safe place out of children's reach, to
make sure children do not play with it.
➔ It is not allowed to modify the structure of this product in any
way.
