• Do not drop the battery or subject it to impacts. Fluid leakage,
overheating, rupture, fire or damage may also occur. If the battery is
dropped or subjected to impacts, discontinue using it, even if it does
not look damaged.
• If the batteries do leak, avoid contact with the leaked fluid. If the
battery fluid should come in contact with your eyes, mouth, or skin,
wash immediately with water and consult a doctor. Battery fluid is
corrosive and may possibly cause loss of sight or chemical burns.
• Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think
batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of
the body, seek immediate medical attention. If the battery is
swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just two hours and
can lead to death.
• When storing batteries, insulate the terminal area by applying tape,
or some other protection. If the terminal of the battery touches other
batteries or metal objects, it may cause overheating, fire, or battery
fluid leakage.
• Do not put in a pocket or bag, carry, or store batteries together with
pieces of metal. The battery could short, burst, or leak, causing a fire
or injury.
• Do not dispose of batteries with regular household waste. Subjecting
the battery to impacts during the disposal process may cause a fire.
Do not throw away used batteries; instead, take them to a recycling
center or drop-off location.
