INSTALLATION
Ensure that the appliance is not damaged. Any damage resulting from transport must be
reported to the dealer no later than 24 hours following delivery.
Handle the appliance with care. Always ensure that the refrigerator is installed on a flat
surface.
For built-in installation, the cupboard which accommodates the refrigerator must be at least 3
mm wider, 3 mm higher and 20 mm deeper than the refrigerator. The support surface must be
able to sustain at least a 25kg load. Fix the refrigerator using at least 2 self-threading screws
which pass through the wall of the cupboard and penetrate inside the wall of the refrigerator at
least 3 mm and not more than 15 mm.
For built-in installation cut two holes in the cupboard that will accommodate the refrigerator;
one at the bottom next to refrigerating unit and the second in the top or on the upper half of the
side. The holes must have an area of at least 300 cm². If this is not possible, leave a gap of at
least 50 mm between refrigerator top and the interior surface of the top of the cupboard (see
fig. 11).
Install the refrigerator far from heat sources in dry and well-ventilated surroundings.
To switch on the refrigerator, it is sufficient to insert the plug into a mains power socket.
Approximately 4 hours are required for the refrigerator to reach the set temperature.
CLEANING
Some points on the back of the refrigerator (see Fig. 10) become hot and have potentially
cutting edges. Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, unplug the appliance
from the mains power and wait for at least 60 minutes. Wear personal protective equipment
(PPE) as per standards and regulations.
EXTERIOR
Clean the exterior first with warm and then with cold water. Dry with a soft cloth. Never use
abrasive products.
INTERIOR
Remove racks and clean the interior using warm water mixed with a little bicarbonate of soda
or vinegar. Rinse and dry carefully with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products, or
aggressive detergents or soaps.
CONDENSER
We recommend cleaning the condenser (fig. 10) at least once a year using a vacuum cleaner or
dry brush.
In the case of prolonged disuse, to avoid the formation of mould or unpleasant odours, remove
the plug from the power socket, empty the appliance completely, clean the interior, and leave
the door ajar.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the line voltage corresponds
to the indications on the appliance rating plate.
