During the heating process, cold circulating air from the living room is aspirated and guided across the
heat exchanger. Afterwards, the heated air is expelled through the air vents in various locations in the
living room.

Note: Ensure that the intake openings are always clear and that the air vents are open
during the heating process.
Ensure that the vehicle interior is sufficiently ventilated during the heating process
(Set the windows to the ventilation position.)

Window contact

Depending on the layout, the window may be equipped with a window contact. This is the case if the
intake/outlet element for the heating is located underneath the window. When the window is open,
the window contact interrupts the current for operating the heating. This prevents exhaust gases from
entering into the vehicle through the open window.
