The CC 718L is a shredder that can be used to
shred paper, CDs and plastic cards.
It is equipped with a large, integrated 18-litre
basket which catches the shredded paper.
If the basket is removed during operation, the
device automatically switches itself off for your
safety, so that getting your hand caught in the
running slitting mechanism is hardly possible.
Two wheels at the back of the case enable you
to move the CC 718L as you wish. Thus you can
easily pull it out from underneath the desk, from
the corner of the room, etc.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Read all instructions thoroughly before using
the machine.
2. Place the cable in such a way that no one will
trip over it.
3. Never open the housing of the shredder.
4. Do not operate the device if it is wet.
5. Switch off the device when not in use and
remove the plug from the socket.
6. Stop using the machine if there is damage to
the cable, housing or holder.
INSTALLATION:
1. Remove all packaging materials from the
device.
2. Place the shredder on a stable, even surface.
3. Connect the power cable to a 220-240 V~
outlet.
4. Set the switch to „AUTO". If the green light
does not go on after this, the paper basket
may not have been inserted properly. Pull the
basket out and slide it into the housing fully.
OPERATION MODES:
Using the switch on the device, select one of the
following modes.
AUTO – On this setting, the shredder switches
itself on automatically as soon as you insert
paper, a CD or plastic card into the appropriate
feeder and switches itself off automatically when
there are no more objects.

REV – In the unlikely case of material being
trapped in the cutter, the reverse function allows
you to remove the blockage.
OFF – This setting switches off the shredder.
