5. Turn the running wheel a few more
revolutions, observe the position of the
band saw blade. Adjust if necessary.
6. Secure the running wheel adjustment
with the locking nut.

Close the upper housing door.
Setting the rear guides
Set point: The band saw blade almost
touches the guide roller (34). The band
saw blade can be pushed back by a maxi-
mum of ½ mm using a piece of wood.
1. The steps are identical for the upper
(Fig. B) and the lower (Fig. C) band
saw blade guide.
Loosen the rear guide mounting screw
(31).
2. Adjust the position of the rear guide:
The guide roller must not rotate!
3. Tighten the rear guide mounting
screw.
Adjusting the lateral guides front/
back
Set point: The non-toothed part of the
band saw blade runs centrally between
the guide pins.
1. The steps are identical for the upper
(Fig. B) and the lower (Fig. C) band
saw blade guide.
Loosen the lateral guide mounting
screw (32).
2. Adjust the position of the lateral guide.
3. Tighten the lateral guide mounting
screw.
Adjusting the lateral guides right/
left
Set point: The band saw blade almost
touches the guide pins (33): Gap of ap-
prox. ½ mm. The band saw blade does
not grind on the guide pins. The steps are
identical for the upper and lower band
saw blade guides.
1. The steps are identical for the upper
(Fig. B) and the lower (Fig. C) band
saw blade guide.
Loosen the mounting screws (35) of
the guide pins.
2. Adjust the position of the guide pins.
3. Tighten the mounting screws of the
guide pins.
Set the band saw blade

• Allen key AF4 (22)
• Open-end spanner AF10 (23; not includ-
ed in delivery)
• Stop bracket 90° (not included in delivery)

Set the band saw blade perpendic-
ular to the saw table (Fig. A)
1. Raise the saw blade guard (5) all the
way up.
2. Loosen the locking handle (16) and
the handle screw (14).
3. Place the stop bracket between the
band saw blade (27) and the saw
table (6).
4. Tilt the saw table until it is at an angle
of exactly 90° to the band saw blade.
If the support screw (36) protrudes too
far, loosen the locking nut (37) and turn
the support screw into the housing.
5. Tighten the locking handle and handle
screw.
6. Loosen the locking nut if necessary.
7.
Turn the support screw until the sup-
port screw touches the underside of
the saw table.
8. Tilt the saw table

Hold the support screw with an Allen
key. Tighten the locking nut to fix the
support screw.
