Rotating the Screen Display

The IR temperature sensor has an internal orientation sensor. Depending on the orientation of the sensor when
installed the display content is automatically rotated and thus adjusts to the viewer. The orientation sensor is enabled
by default. If desired the orientation sensor can be disabled from the menu. The display orientation can also be set
from the menu (see 11.4 Display Settings on page 27).

Timeouts

5.7.1 Timeout Display
The display contrast is automatically reduced 2 min after the last time a button was pressed. After 10 min without
pressing a button the display is turned off. Pressing any button turns the display on again. If key lock is enabled, the
contrast is reduced after 2 s without pressing a button, and the display is turned off after 10 s. In alignment mode the
display is turned off after 30 min and teach-in after 10 min.
5.7.2

Timeout Menu

The menu for parameterizing the sensor is automatically exited 1 min after the last time a button is pressed. After
enabling key lock, in alignment mode or teach-in turning off the display automatically returns from the menu.

All parameters which can be set using the buttons can also be set via the IO-Link interface if present. A teach-in can
be performed at the same time only using one of the two interfaces.
