CLEANING

WARNING: Turn the power switch to O (OFF) and unplug the appliance from the
electrical outlet before cleaning.
- Do not immerse housing in water, but wash it with a damp cloth and non-abrasive
cleaners. Also avoid any infiltration of water into the motor.
- Remove the basket (9) and wash it in warm water with neutral detergent. Dry thoroughly
before reinstalling. Lid is dismountable for easier cleaning.
ASSEMBLING AND CLEANING
CAUTION: Remove the oil reservoir only when the oil and the unit itself are completely cooled.
1. Oil container is removable: open the lid (3) and lift it gently (see Fig A).
2. Drain the cooking oil and dispose of in accordance with local guidelines. Thoroughly clean the inside of
the tank with a paper towel to wipe off the remaining oil.
3. Wash it with warm water and dish soap or in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly before assembling again.
4. Reassemble the container, making sure that the head of the basket is properly aligned with the front of the
main body (see Fig. B). Push the reservoir towards the bottom anchoring it firmly to the main body, then
reassemble the rack and close the lid.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
1. Extract the filter from the rear of lid (Fig. C).
2. Wash the filter with soap and water. Allow to dry to air.
3. Replace the filter.
