Possible causes / Action
• This is normal. This is a protective function. Turn the
dial 5 back to OFF and disengage the espresso
button 25 during hot water extraction. Check that
there is enough water in the water tank 3. When the
device has heated up again, the function can be used
again.
• After the steam extraction, the temperature is still too
hot to make a delicious espresso. The device cools
down. You can speed up this cooling process (see
"Accelerating the cooling process" on page 67).
