Maintainance & Care
Suspension fork
Before every ride, check your suspension fork for correct function and for
visible damage to the upper and lower fork parts (s. chapter Before every
ride).
Wearing parts such as guide bushings, guide axles, rubber dampers, MCU
elastomers, O-ring seals, steel springs, stanchions and dust seals are sub-
ject to wear due to their function. Therefore your fork should be checked
for wear and tear every 12 months by your Coboc dealer and serviced
accordingly.
Regular cleaning and lubrication can extend the service life, but repla-
cement is necessary when the wear limit is reached. The amount of wear
and tear depends on the care, maintenance and type of use of the bike
(riding performance, rain rides, dirt, salt, etc.). Contact your Coboc dealer
if you have any questions about assembly, adjustment, maintenance and
operation.
Regular care can significantly extend the life of your suspension
fork. If the specified maintenance work is not carried out, the
durability of the suspension fork can be significantly reduced
prematurely. A lack of maintenance can also impair safe operation and
void the warranty.
If the suspension fork ever makes a cracking sound or has more
travel (stroke) than usual, do not continue riding your bike under
any circumstances. Contact your Coboc dealer immediately and
have the fork checked.
If you are unsure about the function of your suspension fork, you
must not ride your Coboc bike any further. It is essential that you
contact your Coboc dealer.
For more detailed information about your suspension fork see
also the enclosed manufacturer's manual in your accessory box.
Coboc App
Coboc is constantly dealing with the zeitgeist of real e-bike culture. This
results in intelligent products that realize technical progress.
With our Coboc App, the range of functions for the Coboc rider can be
further expanded.
You can download the Coboc App for free via the App Store or Google Play.
Since we are constantly improving and expanding the app, you can find the
exact function and instructions on our website under
www.coboc.biz/en/the-coboc-app/
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the app will work on every
smartphone. Please note that continuing to use GPS in the background
can drastically reduce battery life.
In general, the use of mobile phones on bicycles is prohibited.
The mobile phone may be attached to the handlebars when
being used as a navigation device. However, you must stop to
(re-)enter your address (and of course to make a phone call).
Before using the Coboc App on public roads, be sure to check the current
regulations in your country.
