Step 5 (optional): Space-saving wall mount to
install the cartridge under the sink (see fig. 7)
A Attach the space-saving wall mount bracket (1) in place using two
matching screws and use two wall plugs (not supplied), depend-
ing on the type of wall. Position it in an accessible place to allow
for 90° pivoting of the head for easy exchange of the filter.
Recommended installation height is 420 mm, as you can easily
switch later on between P1000 and P 3000 refill cartridge. Mini-
mum height for A 1000 / P1000 is 270 mm. Make sure that the
hoses are long enough to match the filerhead, when positioning
the wall bracket.
B Engage the filter head (2) in the wall mount (1) using the notches (3)
on the sides of the filter head to connect to the arms of the bracket.

Step 6: Inserting the filter cartridge (see fig. 8)
A Remove the red protective cap (1).
B Insert the filter cartridge (4) vertically into the filter head (5).
C Turn the locking handle (3) in the direction of the illustrated
closed lock sign on the filter head, until it clicks.
D Engage the filter head (5) in the wall mount (6). Please use the
fixation holes (7).

The filter cartridge can only be inserted when the locking

handle (3) is open.
Make sure that the filter cartridge is positioned correctly and
all O-Rings are correctly positioned.
During assembly, note the installation dimensions, bending
radii of the hoses and dimensions of the accessories. The

system can be operated with the filter cartridge in either
vertical or horizontal positions. Using the mounting bracket,
it should be installed only vertically, with the "UP" arrow on
the bracket correctly positioned.
