5. VideoPlus/Showview Key SV/V+ (Touchscreen):
This key allows the User to directly access their VCR VideoPlus or Showview function if the
feature is available on their VCR. If VideoPlus or Showview feature is not available then
this key will allow direct access to any VCR Timer or Menu operation (if present) as an
alternative. The VideoPlus/Showview function is only available in VCR programmed
Modes. This key can be learned if required.
6. All Power Off Feature:
If the Power key is pressed consecutively twice within a 1second period, and the second
Power key-press is held for greater than 2 seconds, then the remote will send the Power
command for all Modes.
7. TV Volume/Mute Punch-Through:
The TV Volume/Mute punch-through feature allows the User to control the Volume and
Mute function of their Television in any Mode programmed to be a VCR (inc. DVD), Cable
or SAT library device without the need to change to TV Mode. This feature is also
available if Marmitek X-10 Home Automation key is programmed to control a second
VCR, Cable or SAT device.
8. CBL/SAT Volume Control:
Some Cable and Satellite have their own volume control. By default in CBL/SAT modes,
the ET35 Volume and Mute key control the TV volume. To change the volume and mute
control either to TV or CBL/SAT for CBL/SAT mode, proceed as follows:
1.
Press and release the TV mode key (TV must be in TV mode for this procedure).
2.
Press and hold setup key until the LED remains on and the Main Setup Screen is
shown.
3.
Release Setup key.
4.
Press and hold the Mute key for approximately 5 seconds. The LED will blink, and stay
off for the 5second period then blink once more to indicate volume toggle
acceptance. The display will return to the main Setup Screen.
5.
Remote Volume default is now set.
16 Controlling your equipment from any place in
your home
Your remote is prepared to work together with the Marmitek Powermid
Receiver. This receiver (art. no. 08903) allows you to control audio and
video equipment from another room or even outside the house, using
your
Marmitek Remote. Just plug the receiver into a wall socket and place it in
line of sight with your equipment. Ask your dealer for more information.
