Temperature Setting
▪
Start the device with setting the desired heating ca-
pacity with the aid of the heating level switch 1 .
▪
Turn the temperature regulator 3 in a clockwise
direction as far as it will go.
▪
If the desired temperature is not reached, turn
back the temperature regulator
ter-clockwise until you hear a clear click. The
control light 2 goes out. Then an integrated
thermostat controller will automatically turn the
heating function ON or OFF.
If the heating level switch
1 is in this position, the
device is turned off.
When
the
heating
level switch
1
is in
this position, only the fan
is running. If you would
like to use the device as
a ventilator, move the
switch to this position.
If the heating level switch
1 is in this position, the
fan heater develops a
heating power of 900 W.
If the heating level switch
1 is in this position, the
fan heater develops a
heating power of 1800
W.

Oscillation
Set the oscillation switch 5 to 'I' to activate the
function. Then the heater fan begins to move from
side to side.
To disable the oscillation, press the oscillation
switch 5 to
"0".
Note: The device remains completely off as long
as the temperature controller 3 remains below the
click position.
Turning OFF the Device
▪
Set the heating level switch 1 on the "Fan" posi-
tion
and wait 30 seconds to allow the heating
elements to cool down. Damage to the device
could occur if not observed.
▪
Set the heating level switch 1 at position "0".
▪
Pull the power plug out of the socket.
Before you cover the device or put it away,
wait until it has cooled down.
Thermal overload protection
This device is equipped with an overheating pro-
tection. If the device is too hot, the heating element
switches off automatically.
Turn the device OFF by turning the heating level switch 1
to "0" and pull the power plug out of the socket. Wait until
the device has cooled down - at least 10 minutes.
Check the air inlet and air outlet holes. Eliminate the cause
of the overheating before you restart the device.
CAUTION! Usually the device never gets
overheated without cause! If it gets too hot,
there is a danger of fire!
▪
Check whether the device is able to give off the
heat properly: Is the device covered with any-
thing? Or, perhaps, it is too close to a wall or
other obstacle? Check whether the grids on the
front or rear side are free of dirt and not covered.
Is the fan blocked?
