At the next installation site, the tumble dryer and the heat-pump must be lifted from the
transport pallet using suitable lifting gear.
Installing the heat-pump
Before the heat-pump dryer is used for the first time, the tumble dryer and heat-pump
must be connected with one another. The following steps describe how to install the heat-
pump on the tumble dryer:
Firstly, set up the heat-pump at the designated installation site. When installing the heat-
pump dryer, please note that the specified minimum distance from the wall of at least
500 mm must be observed.
The air intake vent and the condensate drain are found on the back of the heat-pump.
Before installation, position the heat-pump at the installation site in such a way that the
air intake vent and the condensate drain are not pointing in the direction of the tumble
dryer.
Position the tumble dryer parallel in front of the heat-pump, leaving a little distance
between the two. The rear of the tumble dryer must be facing the heat-pump.
Remove the tumble dryer lid.
Feed the electrical connection cable through the heat-pump and connect it to the tumble
dryer (see Electrical connection).
Insert the plug into the socket on the tumble dryer.
Position the tumble dryer in front of the heat-pump air openings.
Align the tumble dryer and heat-pump above the machine feet horizontally and parallel to
one another.
