2.2. Planning, assembly and installation

The device uses low power radio signals to communicate with the Z-Wave controller. For best results,
please note the following:

Please do not attach directly to metal planes or metal constructions, as this may limit the range.

The device has a radio range of up to 40m.

The battery life of the device is reduced if the wireless connection to the Z-Wave controller is not
direct but via a repeater.

The device is suitable for protected outdoor use (protection class IP44).

Make sure that the siren is installed outside the "hand area" at a height of at least 3m.
Assembly instructions:
Use the bracket as a template to mark the position of
two drill holes on the wall.
Fix the bracket to the wall using the plugs and screws
provided.
First the upper drill holes "J", then the lower drill
holes "K" for fixing and alignment.
Do not overtighten the screws to avoid damaging the
bracket.
Gently place the unit on the bracket from above and
then press the unit against the wall.
Lock the device in place using the screw on the
bracket.
To remove the base from the bracket, open the screw
and pull the base forward and up from the bracket.
