Troubleshooting connection problems
If your Klarstein device cannot be found in the WLAN, check the following:
• Is the device plugged in?
• Is the WiFi feature of my phone enabled?
• Is the WiFi function of the Klarstein device activated? (Follow the instructions in the
app)
• Has the WLAN password been entered correctly?
• Are the router, Klarstein device and smartphone in the immediate vicinity during the
connection attempt? (Ideally no more than 5 m apart)
• If you have deactivated the 2.4 GHz band in the settings of your wireless router,
activate it in your router settings.
Note: For further help, follow the instructions in the app when setting up the
connection.
CLEANING AND CARE
Always disconnect from main socket before cleaning the unit or air filter. Avoid contact
with moving parts. Use only a soft and damp cloth to clean the unit. Do not clean the unit
by spraying it or immersing it in water or any other liquids and never allow water to drip
into the housing. Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the unit.
Ensure that the unit is switched off from the main socket before removing. Don't lift or
move by pushing the unit to prevent it from leaking. Always empty the water tank and
move the unit slowly. Be careful not to knock the unit over! Do not leave/store with
water inside. Store the appliance in its original box or cover the unit to protect it from
dust in a dry place if it is not being used for a long period of time.
Cleaning the Filtration Mesh
This is easily accessible by removing the rear plate and removing the filter. It is
recommended that you clean the air filters every two months (more often if visibly
soiled). Built up dust on the filter will decrease the airflow volume.
