When using the Smart Task functionality (IO-Link mode and SIO-mode) the following
point has to be considered:
•
After starting the operation of the encoder in the application the rotation direction
of the encoder must not change any more.
When using the Smart Task functionality in SIO-mode the following has to be consid‐
ered:
•
The pulse width of pin 4 should be set as short as possible to avoid overlapping of
pulses.
•
Latest after the 10th object that exceeds or falls below the set limit values for the
measured length, the offset position of pin 4 has to be reached; otherwise pin 4 is
not switched correctly any more.
When switching off and on again the encoder all buffered switching signals for pin
•
4 are deleted.
