20. If you have curlers, hairpins or similar items in your hear, ensure
that they do not project more than 10 mm, to avoid contact with
energised parts of the hair dryer.
21. For safety reasons, do not use the appliance to dry artificial hair.
22. To avoid burns, never aim the hot air flow directly at your face.
23. Do not use any hair sprays while the appliance is in operation.
24. Switch off the appliance before you set it down.
25. The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection circuit.
If operated for too long, the appliance switches off automatically
to prevent damage to the appliance. After an appropriate cool-
down time, you can place the appliance in service again.
26. After use or prior to cleaning the appliance, always switch off
and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it
to cool.
27. As long as the plug is in the electrical outlet, even if the appli-
ance is switched off, the appliance poses a hazard in the vicinity
of water.
28. Do not insert any objects into the appliance, due to the ensuing
damage, there is danger of electric shock.
29. Only use the appliance for the purposes described in these
instructions.
30. To avoid damage, do not use the appliance with accessories of
other manufacturers or brands.
31. Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in elec-
tric shock.
32. Check the plug and the power cord regularly for wear or dam-
age. In case of damage to the power cord or other parts, please
send the appliance for inspection and/or repair to our customer
service organisation. Unauthorised repairs can result in serious
risks to the user and will void the warranty.
Caution! The appliance is very hot during and after operation!
Never open the housing of the appliance. There is danger of
electric shock.
For safety reasons never use the appliance close to or in a bath-
tub or washbasin or any other container filled with water. If the
hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it from the wall socket
after use, since nearby water presents a danger even when the
hair dryer is switched off.
