Terminating the charging process

ATTENTION
Damage to the charging cable
Tensile stress on the charging cable may cause cable
breaks and other damage.
f Remove the charging cable only by pulling the plug
from the charging socket.
f End the charging process on the vehicle or by holding
the RFID card in front of the RFID card reader.
f Pull the charging cable out of the charging socket on
the plug.
f Fit the protective cap onto the charging cable.
f Hang or store the charging cable kink-free.
Charging cable cannot be unplugged
If the charging plug cannot be removed, e.g. after a power
failure, the charging plug could not be unlocked in the
device. The charging plug cannot be removed and must
be unlocked manually.
f Have the charging plug unlocked by a qualified electri-
cian via the emergency unlock function.

Electric shock hazard when devices are damaged
If a damaged device is used people can be seriously
injured or killed through an electric shock.
f Do not use the device if it is damaged.
f Mark the damaged device to ensure that no one con-
tinues using it.
f Have a qualified electrician rectify the damage imme-
diately.
f Have an qualified electrician take the device out of ser-
vice if necessary.
Regular control and maintenance tasks support the safe
and error-free operation of the device and contribute to
increasing the service life.
This allows early detection of possible error sources and
prevents hazards. If it is determined that the device is
damaged, the damage must be rectified immediately by a
qualified electrician.
f Check the device daily, i.e. at each charging, for opera-
tional readiness and external damage.
Examples of damage:
„ Defective housing (e.g. severe deformations, cracks,
breaks)
„ Defective or missing components (e.g. protective ele-
ments, hinged lid)
„ Illegible or missing safety labels.
A maintenance contract with a responsible ser-
vice partner guarantees regular tests.
