5. Safety instructions
Maximum number of users.
Before using the scaffolding, the
stability and the effectiveness of the
securing must be checked.
Vertical positioning in the crosswise
and lengthwise direction is to be
checked during erection using a
spirit level.
Accessing and coming down from
the working platform is not permit-
ted via any access route other than
the access hatch provided.
The hatch to the working platform
should only be opened in order to
climb through, and should be kept
closed at all other times.
Do not use the scaffolding on a
unlevel or unfirm base.
Do not erect the scaffolding on a
contaminated / slippery ground.
Warning, electricity hazard.
Identify any electrical risks in the
work area, such as overhead lines or
other exposed electrical equipment
and do not use the ladder where
electrical risks occur.

If the scaffolding is being used on
the outside of buildings, then as far
as possible it is to be safely secured
to the building or onto another
solidly-constructed element.
Do not use the scaffolding outdoors in unfavoura-
ble weather conditions (e.g. snow-covered ground,
strong wind, gusts of wind, etc.).
If being used outdoors or on open buildings,
work is to be stopped if the wind increases and/
or at the end of the shift the scaffolding is to
be moved to an area protected from the wind, or
secured against tipping over using other suitable
measures.
Maximum installation height of the
work platform = 2.3 m.
The work platform must be locked
safely using the clip bolts.
The scaffolding may not be used by
children and must be stored out of
reach of children.
Leaning out of the platform is
prohibited.
The scaffolding must only be moved by hand, and
only on a firm, even, obstacle-free surface.
When moving the scaffolding, care must be taken
to ensure that normal walking pace is not excee-
ded, and that the scaffolding must only be moved
in the direction of its longer side.
