Explanation of the icons

The following icons appear on the display:
Icon Description
"Error" icon; indicated together with an error
code or a written hint, e.g. "LEAK TEST
ERROR" etc.
"Warning" icon; indicated with a written hint, e.g.
"ACTIVATION STROKE & START" etc.
Progress bar; indicates something in progress,
e.g. leak test, sampling, etc.
Battery capacity 100 %
Battery capacity 83 %
Battery capacity 66 %
Battery capacity 50 %

Icon Description
Battery warning: Capacity less than 33 %,
lowest segment of the battery icon begins to
flash.
Battery empty: Capacity less than 16 %, the
battery icon begins to flash.
3 Use

If the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic is used for measurements in
areas that are difficult to access, an extension hose can be
attached to the tube on the instrument. To achieve correct
measurement results, only use the standard extension hoses
detailed in Chap. 9 on page 21. The Dräger X-act 5000 Basic
will identify the used extension hose during the measurement.
