7.2. Charging the battery

The lithium ion battery requires an AC/DC adapter with an output of 14V/3A or a car
adapter with 12VDC/3A. The charging time depends on the discharge of the battery, but it
should not take more than 5 hours. Normally the battery should be fully recharged after
about 2 - 3 hours. During the charging process, the "BATT" LED lights up.
Connect the adapter to the meter as shown in the picture:
