Minimum thickness of the tested object
Despite the low penetration depth the workpiece needs to have a minimum thickness so that the
instrument is not damaged. The minimum thickness of the material should be at least ten times higher
than the penetration depth.
Penetration depth h:
F: preset test force
HV: Vickers hardness of the material
Minimum thickness t: t ≤ 10 h
