CLEANING AND REPLACING THE MOTOR FILTER
1. Disconnect the flexible hose and open the vacuum cleaner cover.
2. Move the dust bag holder upwards and remove the protective filter of the
motor (see Fig. 7).
The filter can be cleaned by tapping or shaking it. If the filter is extremely
dirty, it can be washed in lukewarm water. Let the filter dry completely
before using it again.
3. Insert a cleaned or new motor filter into the vacuum cleaner and close the
cover.
CHECKING AND REPLACING THE AIR OUTLET FILTER
1. Open the air outlet grid at the top section of the vacuum cleaner (see Fig. 8).
2. Remove the filter.
3. Check the existing filter or insert a new filter and close the air outlet grid.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The vacuum cleaner and its accessories can be cleaned with a wet cloth. Never
put the product into water! Do not use aggressive substances for cleaning, such
as solvents or abrasives!

Plug inserted into the mains outlet

Obstructed filter.
Clogged nozzle, tube, or hose.
Slight heating of the vacuum cleaner is normal and cannot be considered a failure.

Solution
Check the plug connection.
Check for voltage, e.g. by connecting
another appliance.
Unplug the power cord from the
mains outlet. Check and release the air
suction and discharge holes; check the
filter cleanliness and/or replace the dust
bag. Let the vacuum cleaner cool down.
Check the dust filter installation.
Replace the dust bag.
Clean or replace the filter
Check and release the air passage on the
suction and discharge sides.
