5.6 Opening the Installation Area

Danger to life due to electric shock when live
components or cables of the inverter are
touched
High voltages are present in the conductive
components or cables of the inverter. Touching live
parts and cables of the inverter results in death or
lethal injuries due to electric shock.
• Disconnect the inverter from voltage sources
and make sure it cannot be reconnected before
working on the device.
• After disconnection, wait 60 minutes until the
capacitors have discharged.
• Wear suitable personal protective equipment
for all work on the product.
• Do not touch non-insulated parts or cables.
Damage to the inverter due to electrostatic
discharge
Touching electronic components can cause
damage to or destroy the inverter through
electrostatic discharge.
• Ground yourself before touching any
component.
Opening the installation area with one-piece
enclosure lid:
1. Disconnect the inverter.
2. Loosen the screw attached in the center of the
one-piece enclosure lid of the inverter (TX55).

3. To remove the display, tilt the one-piece
enclosure lid forward and hold in this position.
4. Remove display cable on display. Loosen the 2
screws (TX20) on the cable holder and remove
the cable holder from the service lid. Using a
Phillips screwdriver, loosen the two screws at the
plug and remove the plug.
5. Remove all eight fastening screws from the
intermediate frame (TX25).
