Lid with float
• Please only wash this component by hand and do not use
any detergent.
• Wash the parts off under warm water.
• You can use a nylon brush as an aid in the case of severe
dirt accumulations.
• Dry it well afterwards. Please bear in mind that the seal must
be at the bottom of the component.
Water tank
• Please only wash this component by hand and do not use
any detergent.
• Never immerse the water tank in water or other liquids.
• Rinse out the tank with warm water.
• You can use a nylon brush as an aid in the case of severe
dirt accumulations.
• Dry it well afterwards. Please bear in mind that the seal must
be at the bottom of the component.
Scale removal
With hard water, lime eventually deposits on the heating
•
element. To avoid this, pour some commonly available de-
scaling agent with an acidic acid base in the water container
and fill it with water to the "MAX" marking after 7 – 10
occurrences of use. See the instructions for the dosage.
• Then put the lid back on the water tank. Never put a
damaged device into operation.
• Once the de-scaler has had a chance to work, remove the
lime residues with a nylon brush.
• Rinse out the tank with warm water.
• How frequently de-scaling is required depends on the
hardness level of the water and the frequency of use.
