DAB operation
DAB Full Scan
The FULL SCAN will search for the entire DAB
Band III channels . After the scan has finished,
the first alphanumerically found station will be
automatically selected .

During the scan, the display will show
SCAN ## .
Once the scan has finished, the unit will
show the total number of the station, and
then broadcast the first alphanumerically
found station .
Manually Tuning In DAB
Radio Stations
As well as the auto scan function, you can
manually tune them in . You will need to know
which multiplex the station you are looking for is
in .

DRC Setting
You can set the DRC (Dynamic Range
Compression) to High, Low or Off . This will reduce
the volume of loud sounds and increase the
volume of quiet sounds .

Saving Preset Stations
You can store up to 30 of your favorite stations to
the memory . This will enable you to access your
favorite stations quickly and easily .
To store a preset, you must first be listening
to the station that you would like to save .

control . The display will show "## Empty",
and the preset number will flash .

control to select your desired station preset
number .
Press the PROG 44 button to confirm your
station, the display will show "STORED" .
Recalling a Preset Station
Once you have saved a station to one of the
preset buttons, you can recall it by pressing
the
/
button 27 on the remote
control to select your desired preset number .
Preset number and station name will show
on the display to indicate the preset station
you are listening to .
NOTE: Number keys can only be used after
saving the preset stations .
DAB Display Modes
Every time you press INFO
display will cycle through the following display
modes . The information is displayed on the lower
segment of the display .
DLS (Dynamic Label Segment)
Dynamic label segment is a scrolling message
that the broadcaster may include with their
transmissions . The message usually includes
information, such as program details etc .
Programme Type
This describes the style of the programme that is
being broadcast . Multi plex Name / Frequency A
multiplex is a collection of radio stations that are
bundled and transmitted on one frequency . There
are national and local multiplexes . Local ones
contain stations that are specific to that area . The
frequency of the present station will be displayed .
NOTE: DAB – unlike normal radio, groups
together several radio stations and transmits them
on one frequency .
Signal Error/ Signal Strength
The error is shown as a number . If the number is 0,
it means the signal received is error free and the
signal strength is strong . If the error rate is high, it
is recommended to reposition the radio aerial or
button 27 on the remote
