Handling batteries correctly
Before inserting batteries, check whether the candle, remote control
and battery contacts are clean. If necessary, clean them with a
dry cloth.
Only use the battery type specified in the technical data.
Always replace all batteries. Never use different types of batteries,
different brands of batteries or batteries with different capacities.
When changing batteries ensure the polarity (+ / -) is correct (see
also the imprint on the candles and in the battery compartment of
the remote control).
Remove batteries from the candles and the remote control when
they are flat or if you are not using the item for an extended period
of time. In this way you avoid damages caused by leaking batteries.
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Exhausted or dam-
aged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause caustic
burns upon contact with the skin. Therefore wear suitable
protective gloves in this case.
The batteries must not be charged or reactivated via another means,
must not be taken apart, thrown into fire, submerged in water or
short-circuited.
Handling the item correctly
Do not expose the item to extreme temperatures, severe temperature
fluctuations, direct sunlight or damp.
The candles are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
The remote control is only suitable for indoor use.
Keep sufficient distance from sources of heat e.g. stoves, ovens
or fireplaces.
Do not drop the item and do not subject it to extreme shocks.
Make sure that the item cannot fall into water.
