ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

• The electrical system must be compliant with the rule IEC 64-8.
• The product must be connected to the mains using a single-pole
switch with a contact opening that ensures complete disconnec-
tion in category III overvoltage conditions (3mm minimum) located
outside of zones 0, 1, 2 (IEC 64-8/7).
• Make sure the product gets power through a differential switch
with an intervention threshold ≤30mA.
N.B. The power cord from the mains must only be replaced by
specialist technicians.
• The electrical connection (
Earthing system that must be:
- Of a fixed type.
- Adequate for the current absorbed (refer to the data on the
data reference plate).
- With an IPX5 resistance rating against the penetration of
liquids.
• The supplied cable (if present) must be used for the mains con-
nection.
• If the product does not come with the power cable, or if it must be
replaced, the type used must be at least H05VV-F/60277 IEC 53,
with a diameter suited to the cable glands on the appliance.

EQuIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION

Furthermore, the product must be connected to the main equipo-
tential point using an appropriate Earth clamp attached to a boiler
support bracket.

shower cabin to quickly reach the optimum sauna temperature.

WATER INSTALLATION

• Predispose the hot and cold water connections to feed the tap fit-
tings and the connection of the discharge outlet. If the hardness of
the water is high (>200 mg/litre) install a water softener to ensure
a good functioning of the system.
• To ensure the correct functioning of the water functions,
the water supply system must have the following charac-
teristics:
- Min./max. pressure of the water supply: 2.5 - 5 bar
(250 - 500 kPa);
- recommended mains pressure 3.5 bar (350 kPa);
- Max. hot water temperature 60°C;
- min/max flow rate 20 ÷ 35 l/min;
- min/max thermal input 55 ÷ 82Kw;
- min. discharge u-bend flow rate 35 l/min.
• By way of example, two types of installation are shown; they
are not binding for the customer, who will adopt the most suitable
solution for his own requirements, according to required heat rat-
ing.
Instant production of hot water: the use of one or more
-
boilers properly sized to obtain an average heat rating of
68Kw, with 3.5 bar mains pressure and 60° domestic hot
water, permits to have a theoretically unlimited shower time,
when other simultaneous utilities are not present;
- Storage system production: the use of a storage system
corresponding to approx.ly 250 litres, with mains pressure
3.5 bar and 60° water temperature in the boiler, permits to
obtain approx.ly uninterrupted 15 minutes of water mixed at
38° (cold water temperature ≥10°C), if no other simultaneous
utilities, taking hot water from the same system, are present.
Please note: the higher the storage system capacity, the
larger the hot water amount available, therefore the available
shower time.
NOTE. The equipped column functions may be used in
an independent manner; when used at the same time,
the performance depends on the mains system fea-
tures. The product is tested to ensure the optimal per-
formance of the water functions used singularly.
