WARNING: the quick release systems are designed to be operated by
hand. Never use tools to block or unblock the mechanism to avoid
damaging it. To adjust the clamping force, you must use the
adjustment nut (fig. 1-2) located opposite the lever (fig. 1-1) and not
turn the quick release lever.
To lock or unlock the system, open the locking lever (fig. 1-1) and turn
the nut located opposite the clamping screw by hand (fig. 1-2) to loosen
the system. Then take out the clamping screw from the wheel clamp by
pivoting the lever (see fig. 2). Press the button on the hinge pin (see fig
1-3) located at the top of the wheel clamp and pull the lever upwards
to unlock the folding mechanism. Pull the front part of the frame to fold
the bike.
To fold the bike, pull the front part of the frame again to return it to the
wheel clamp until the release button is inserted into the hole with a
click. Rotate the clamping screw to return it to the notch in the wheel
clamp. Manually turn the adjustment nut to tighten the screw, then fold
the lever.
Warning: make sure you have properly tightened the mechanism
before using the bicycle. If the lever can be operated with minimal
