EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Extraordinary maintenance must only be performed by the
Aermec After-Sales Service or by people with the technical and
occupational requisites enabling them to install, transform,
extend and maintain the systems and are able to check them
for the purposes of safety and operability; in particular as far
as electrical wirings are concerned the required checks are
relative to:
- Measurement of the electrical system insulation resistance.
- Continuity test of the protection wires.
Extraordinary maintenance consists of a set of complex
operations that involve the dismantling of the conditioner or its
components, the result of which is the restoration of conditions
of maximum efficiency in conditioner functioning.
Operations:
- Inside cleaning every year or before the equipment is not to
be used for a long time; in environments where a high degree
of air cleaning is required, the cleaning can be carried out
more frequently; it consists of cleaning the coil, the fan fins,
the tray and all parts in contact with the treated air.
- Repairs and fine tuning: when there are malfunctions refer
to the "TROUBLESHOOTING" chapter in this manual before
contacting the After-Sales Service.
mode inside an environment where the relative humidity
is high, condensate might form on the air delivery. Said
condensate might be deposited on the floor and on objects
underneath.
Operation in heating mode with a heat pump could cause
creaking due to the various thermal expansions of the elements
(plastics and metals), this will not however cause damage to
the unit.
