– Place the slotted cover on the floor directly in front of the wheel
laser (see diagram).

– Unscrew the setscrew of the height-adjustable cover and move
the latter until the laser beam passes through the centre of the
slot. Next, fix the cover in place once more with the setscrew.
– Now place the slotted cover on the floor at the same height as
the front wheel.
– Release the locking screw of the Universal quick-change clamp
and position the wheel laser in such a way that the laser beam
passes through the centre of the slot in the cover. Fix the wheel
laser in place once more using the setscrew. The laser beam
is now aligned parallel with the surface below the vehicle.
– Using the knurled screw (diagram, Item 2), move the mirror
vertically until the laser beam is reflected onto the projection
surface of the wheel laser as close as possible (+/- 1 mm) to the
outlet aperture.

– Now release the fastening screw on the side of the spirit level
with the elongated hole (diagram, Item 3), and position the
spirit level in such a way that the air bubble is exactly in the
middle. The spirit level is now aligned in relation to the surface
below the vehicle, and must no longer be adjusted.
– Switch the wheel laser off again.
– Unscrew the setscrew of the Universal quick-change clamp
and remove the wheel laser from the clamp holder. After this,
remove the Universal quick-change clamp from the rear wheel.

– Take the setting device off the rail. To do so, pull the locking
lever on the right-hand carry handle. This releases the clamp,
so that the setting device can easily be removed from the rail.
