• If bread slices are jammed in the toaster slots, never poke with
a knife, fork or other metal objective in the toaster slots.

• Place the device on a dry, even, non-slip, heat-resistant
surface that does not react with the rubber feet.
• Do not place the device on a hot surface or near strong heat
sources.
• Never operate the toaster without the inserted crumb tray.
• Depending on the sort of bread the desired browning level is
reached in diff erent times. Light breads require a lower
browning level than dark bread. Fresh bread takes longer to
reach the desired browning level than old bread.
• The toaster is equipped with a cancel button. In case you have
set by mistake a too high browning level press the cancel
button to turn off the device.
• Ensure that the bread slices are not too thick as they could
jam in the toaster slots and burn.
• If bread is jammed in the toaster slots disconnect from the
power supply and let the toaster cool down. Do not use sharp
objectives like knives to remove the jammed bread as they
might damage the device and its heating elements.
• If you want to pull the plug out of the socket, always grasp the
plug. Never pull the power cord.
• Do not use the power cord as a carrying handle.
• Ensure that the power cord is not bent or is placed over sharp
edges.
