8. Let the water-descaler solution boil. As soon as the solution has reached its boiling level,
the device turns off automatically. The operation indicator goes out.
9. T ake off the device from the kettle base (3) and slowly pour out the hot water-descaler
solution.
10. R inse the device 3 times to remove remains of the water-descaler solution. To do so, fi ll the
device with fresh water.
11. Place again the water kettle onto the kettle base (3) until it snaps into place.
12. T urn the On/Off switch (2) to position 'I' to start the water kettle. The operation indicator
lights up to confi rm the start of operation.
13. L et the water boil. As soon as the water has reached its boiling level, the device turns off
automatically. The operation indicator goes out.
14. T ake off the device from the kettle base (3) and pour out slowly the boiling water.
15. Repeat this process 2 more times.
16. After completion of rinsing process disconnect the water kettle from the power supply.
NOTE!
The descaling intervals for your device depend on the following
factors:
1. The degree of water hardness measured in your region.
2. The amount of water that is boiled in the water kettle.
The device should be decalcifi ed m inimum every 2 months.
