8. Network confi guration
Two network configurations are possible for the Internet radio: WLAN mode (wire-
less) or LAN mode (with an Ethernet cable).
•
If the Internet connection is to be set up using an Ethernet cable, go to the set-
up wizard and select the connection type WIRED. You can manually change all
settings later in the system settings.

If you have a wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n network, you can connect the Internet ra-
dio to the Internet via Wi-Fi:
On first use, you will need to select an access point (AP) and, if necessary, enter
the network key. The radio will then always tune in to this AP automatically. A
message will appear if the device is unable to find the AP.
9. Connecting to a power supply
Plug the mains cable supplied (model number YN36W-1200250VW) into the DC
IN socket on the device.
To switch on the power, switch on the radio using the On/Off switch at the back.
10. Using the device for the fi rst time
On first use, confirm the query "SETUP WIZARD START NOW?" with
YES to start the setup wizard. .
10.1. Select language
Select the desired language by turning the dial and press it to confirm the lan-
guage.
